Tukaram Bhaurao Sathe alias Anna Bhau Sathe

Tukaram Bhaurao Sathe alias Anna Bhau Sathe (August 1, 1920 - July 18, 1969) was a Marathi writer and social reformer. His image as a fictionalist and novelist, who brought philosophy of class-consciousness to the masses, is a villager from Maharashtra's rural soil and sanskars.

During the Joint Maharashtra Movement, along with the Indian Independence Movement, as well as during the Goa Liberation Movement, he did tremendous public work. As an artist and as a general worker, he also participated in every activity, movement. During the 'Chale Jaav' movement, there were several developments under the leadership of Barde Guruji in Vategaon. Warrant issued to him because he was involved in it. As a result, he left home forever. Later, he got a philosophy, a direction of thought and started working full time for the Communist Party. While inclined towards party work, in 1944, he founded 'Lal Bavta' Art Squad. Shahir Amar Sheikh and Shahir Gavankar also joined them in this period. This was the beginning of their writing. Lavani, Powada were preparations for their fine literature. He wrote a total of 15 songs and got the publicity from them.

During 1945, the life of Mr. Hazare got some stability in Mumbai. While working as a journalist in the weekly Wakashat, he wrote the stories of Akalee, Khaparya Chor, and Mumbai's folk dances. During this period, he read the classical works of many talented talents including saint literature. It helped in becoming a rich writer of conceptual and artistic reading. The secret of success as a writer of Anna is that he always pains the mind of the general reader. With respect to the standard reader, their literature, which became objective, became the target of readers. From 1950 to 1962, he was the golden age of his literature field. During this period, many versions of their books came out. While very successful, his own life was getting stressed. The Bombay government had banned the Art Path of Lal Bahta. Later on the show was banned. The performers of the spectacle were uneasy. Anna has transformed Tamasha into a popular dance drama. In the golden period, he wrote many novels like Vaijayanta, Makadi Mal, Lottery Litter, Varna Tiger and Fakira. Wrote the story over 300. His story is famous as Khulnwadi, Barabahya Kanjari, Krishna Katha Katha. He also wrote Stowelnagarad Povda, a tradition of Maharashtra, and Mumbai's workers such as Powai. The elections are known for their scandals, the thiravas in the famine, the story of Akale.
He has written two hundred and two hundred and a half songs. Their songs and lavains are popular among the workers. Anna Bhau was dominated by rural, regional, and Dalit literature in Marathi. Anna Bhau's literature has been translated into 27 languages ​​in Hindi, Gujarati, Oriya, Bengali, Tamil, Malayalam, as well as Russian, Czech, Polish, English, French. By creating a stylus tool, he raised the path of progressive, scientific, feminine, farsighted inventor in the field of Marathi literature. He was getting popularity due to such a huge dedication. There were 12 films on Anna's film. Even though many such literature was published, their poverty was not over. Lakshmi was not pleased with them. Since they were reticent, people took advantage of them in practical terms. But veteran artists such as Bhalji Pendharkar, Suryakant Mandhare, Jayashree Gadkar, Sulochana, have loved him very much. Among the Hindi film stars, Raj Kapoor, Shankar, Shailendra, Balraj Sahani, Guru Dutt, Utpal Dutt are loved by Anna. Russian artists like Oleg were friends with Anna Bhau.



When Anna Bhau Sathe started working in a communist movement in Mumbai's 'Matunga Labor camp', he thought his ideas were revolutionary. Communist leader / activist of the then Labor camp, R.B. More, K.M. Along with Salvi, Shankar Narayan Pagare, he started working as a Communist Party. Marxist ideas began to attend the study program. At the same Labor camp, they started to write and write down the sunlight again. He wrote the first song on the mosquito in Labor camp. At the same Labor camp, Anna Bhau Sathe, Shahir Amar Sheikh and Shahir Dana Gavankar's trilogy was established under the guidance of the Communist Party in the year 1944 with the formation of the Lal Bahta Kala Pantak, and the powerful voice of revolutionary Shahiri spread throughout the country, not Maharashtra.



Writer like Anna Bhau began writing as a journalist, story writer, lyricist, from the mouthpiece of the Communist Party. Folk literature publications related to the communist party and ideology, and VVS Bhat's innovative publication has done a very good job of publishing publications by announcing Anna Bhau's novels, novels, novels and other such plays. Anna Bhau's book 'Shahir' was written by senior communist leader S.K. A. Dange has praised him by writing a detailed introduction.
