Akkalkot is considered today as Pragya Kshetra, which is why it seems that there should be some customary explanation for the cause of Shri Swamiji in the journey of Akkalkot.

When the identity of Akkalkot Swami was recognized, it is incomparably similar to Shri Nrusingh Saraswati. During the time of Mahārāj Samādhī, he went to cut wood in a wood called Uddhav. The wound can be seen anywhere in the place where the owner was injured. Then Swamiji gave a fervent blessing and from there he left for the welfare of the devotees. Swam Bhakta believed that Mahārāj was Datta Vaavvatari.
