Swami Samarth Maharaj introduced:
When the identity of Akkalkot Swami was recognized, it is incomparably similar to Shri Nrusingh Saraswati. Shri Nrishingh Saraswati was sitting in the Kardali forest in ShreeSalya, the duration of his Samadhi was three hundred years old. During the time of Mahārāj Samādhī, he went to cut wood in a wood called Uddhav. After dismantling the wooden trunk and breaking a Kurhad, Kuruk, fell on a warhead, the Samadhi of Shri Maharaj broke, and the Swami Samarth was revealed through that Varula. As the Kurhad fell, Maharaj was suffering from a knee injury, because the blood was released from the wounds caused by Maharaj, due to which the herbal remedy was sent to Maharaja's wound. The wound can be seen anywhere in the place where the owner was injured. Then Swamiji gave a fervent blessing and from there he left for the welfare of the devotees. Swam Bhakta believed that Mahārāj was Datta Vaavvatari.

Mahārāj's physique was very intense. Kanti fast: it was a bang His character was fair, it was Ajanbahu. His face was fierce, and his face was as bright as an orange color. Their ears were huge and they were of great age. But when they walk, the simple people have to run away with them. Maharaj always used to be a lamb, his attitude towards him was peculiar. There was nothing like that of a regularity. Others have to do bathing, eating, etc. In the meantime, when Maharaj used to go there, he used to walk, but his attitude towards each and every person was different and their purity and demand were never dissolved, so thousands of devotees still visit the place of Shri Swaminarayan to Akalkot.

C. In the year 1848, when the state of Satara was opened, all the affairs of the Akkalkot institution were ruled by the British government.
