Krantisinh Nana PatilKrantisinh Nana Patil (3 August, 1900 - 6 December, 1976) was an Indian freedom fighter and a post-independence Marathi politician.
Krantisinh Nana Patil is a political activist, who is the leader of the freedom movement in Maharashtra (mainly in Satara, Sangli region) and also using the unique experiment of parallel government.
Nana Patil was born in Bahiborgaon in Sangli district. Since childhood, Nano had great gift of the body. That is why, in the coming years, people were attracted to him because of his outstanding personality.
After completing his education, he worked as a Talathi for some time. But the young man, who has a social desire and a politician, soon got out of work. He was involved in the independence struggle since the 1930 Civil Disobedience Movement. Their work is going on in both ways of independence and development of Bahujan Samaj.
Krantisinh Nana Patil Village is a Yehngchachid in Sangli district.
He left his job to work in the 1930 Civil Disobedience Movement. He tried to make the rural people aware of slavery, making the people brave. The Wanakari sect was influenced by the Nan. Nana also had the guts to make inspirational speeches in the language of the people, to inspire them. Krantisinh's main contribution is to make people aware of the selfishness of the people of the Bahujan community and join them in the freedom struggle.
They thought that the British government should set up a parallel government system. He said, 'I do not want to do this.' In 1942, the Movement Movement came into force with direct implementation. The concept of counterparty was brought into effect by the knowledge that we should be responsible for the control of our country. Through public support, public utility works like public ones, food supply and market administration are being done. In 1942, during the decline of British rule, he established an independent state in Satara district. Veteran poet c. D Madgulkar was done through written poems and by the sound of Shahir Nikam.
Through this counter-government, many social activities were being undertaken for market administration, supply of food, establishment of judicial courts to resolve the dispute, the dacoits-exploiting lenders and rigorous punishment to the students. Under this government Nana Patil established a military force named 'Tufan Sena'. Nana Patil successfully executed the technique of attacking British trains, post and other such services. Between 1943 and 1946, in every 1500 villages of Satara and Sangli district there were contingents working. This concept was used in many places in the country.
He was influenced by Mahatma Phule's Satyashodhak ideas and the work of Rajarshi Shahu. He tried to make 'Gandhi-Nivar' marriage arrangements at a very low cost, as well as social reform through the spread of education, establishment of libraries, eradication of superstition, and the de-addiction of the rural people. They had activists like Shahir Nikam, Nagnath Anna Nayakavadi and others.
After the country's independence, Nana took part in a joint Maharashtra movement. He worked through the parties of the Farmers Labor Party and the Communist Party of India. In 1957, he was elected to the Lok Sabha from North Satara constituency. He was elected to the Lok Sabha from Beed constituency in 1967 as a candidate for the Communist Party. He was the first MP to speak in Marathi from Parliament.
From the pre-independence era, the Sangli district, along with the continuous light of an inspirational personality throughout Maharashtra, was organized on 6th December. 1976 died in Miraj.
