In the last 20 years, by the brilliant wisdom designed strategies and implementing it with unparalleled courage, Bajirao took the leadership of Maratha out of the Marathi subdivision. Bajiarva's ambition was to educate the leadership of Maratha in the south and to extend the power of the Marathi power in the north, creating the dominance of the Marathas in the entire Bundelkhand, and they were mostly fulfilled.

Bajirao created leadership of Maratha in the south between 1725 and 1727. At the same time Nizam had to leave the Gujarat tour partially by attacking Pune. But after entering Bajirao Nizam's capital, Nizam had to flee to Pune to protect his own country. After defeating at Palkhed in 1728, Nizam made a complete end of Muniji-Shegaon. Bajirao's reputation became the lord of guerrilla war since its inception. In 1738, when Nizam helped the Nizam to protect Delhi. At that time Bajirao also defeated Nizam of Bhopal. The Nizam had to treat the Nizam again. Through this thunder, the territory of Narmada and Chambal came under Maratha control. Bhopal's victory was the top point of Bajirao's achievement. By this victory he became 'Hind-Kesari', that means that before Pankhed-Dabhai victory he had become 'Maharashtra-Kesari'.

As the great Bajirao flagged the flag of Marathi power in the north, he was called the founder of Greater Maharashtra, and he is also the founder Peshwa of Pune. As a result of the city's comfort for the Northern campaign, he has made his residence Pune by editing the favor of Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj. Shaniwarwada, built by him, became the centerpiece of the country's politics.

Yadunath Sarkar says, "Bajirao gave Maratha a place of honor in the history of Hindustan. Bajirao Peshwa should be compiled in the wise men after the Chattrapati Shivaji Raje in Maratha. Chhatrapati created Maharashtra State and Bajirao started making this state the largest form of Maharashtra. '

At last, on 28th April, 1740, the Marathi warrior, who had only 40 years of life and only 20 years of his life, took the last breath at Rarmarkhedi (Madhya Pradesh) on Narmadati.
