Saint Tukaram was a Warakari saint in the seventeenth century. Vitthal or Vithoba of Pandharpur was an araddev of Tukaram. The Warkari is known as 'Jagadguru' by Tukaram. At the end of the discourse and kirtan in the Warkari sect - 'Pundalik Varade Hari Vitthal, Sri Dnyaneshwar Tukaram, Pandharinath Maharaj Ki Jai, Jagadguru Tukaram Maharaj Ki Jai'.

Tukaram Maharaj was an inspirational, courageous and in a sense a rebel saint poet. The Vedanta, which was a traditional monopoly of a particular class, flowed from the aboriginals of Tikoba to the common people. 'Abhang said that he got his immense popularity just like Tukoba's' (Abhang Tukiya). Abhanga, the fervor of Saint Tukaram, is a great indicator of the cultural tradition of Maharashtra. Warkari, Goddess Rakshak, literary, scholar and common man today study his abhangs. His abhang has always been an integral part of the uneducated people in the villages. Even today, the popularity is 'Abhang', it is increasing.

'We have the meaning of the Veda that we have. Tukobarai proudly expresses the statement made by others. 'Tuka simply speaks softly. Vedanta vahee water in his house .. Bhakti - Pyaan-Vairagya created by worshiping Saint Tukaram's abhangwani Parvrahma's Advaita worship. The tales of Tukaram are so gentle that Vitthal's shy Parbrahma, Saguna, realizes that he should be pleased to immerse himself in Tibbans' abstention and devotion.

'We have riches in our house; Saying 'I should try the weapons with words.' He said that he guided the then society, criticized casteism, revealed the fame of Shree Viththalawar, explained the essence of spiritualism. You can see that their poetic talents have been shaken beyond country-time-gender divide. 'Vishnu ji is the religion of Vaishnavism. He played the role of 'Bhoddhad-delusiona Amangal ..' in the 17th Century. By keeping sectarian reflection aside, harmony, equality has been established.

They got the privilege of becoming the clan of Bhagwat Dharma. They have stabilized in the heart of Maharashtra. Their ancestors have a touch of redness. The words of the Mantras sanctify. His Abhanga is 'Akshar Vangya'. Their idiom is in their feelings. The sweetness of his poetry and the melodrama of the language is incomparable.
